Port Police Activity 2024
In 2024, the National Ports Agency continued to rigorously fulfill
its port authority missions - port police, navigation assistance,
safety, security, and environmental protection. The year was
marked by strong commitment and by the consolidation of
the ISO 9001:2015 quality system, reaffirming the central role
of harbor master’s offices in the port transit chain.
Strong and Targeted Mobilization
In 2024, ANP implemented a comprehensive action plan
covering safety, security, and environmental preservation.
This plan reflects the priority given to securing flows and
navigation, as well as to modernizing maritime and land-
based resources.
As part of a better structuring of maritime access zones, five
decrees delimiting maritime boundaries were published in
2024 for five ports managed by ANP, while work continued
on defining anchorages and access channels for fishing and
leisure ports, in line with applicable regulations.
Resources deployed strengthened monitoring, equipped
harbor master’s offices, and consolidated their central role in
regulating and overseeing port activity.
An Integrated and Recognized Quality Approach
Implementation of the ISO 9001:2015 quality management
system continued throughout 2024 at harbor master’s offices.
This certification attests to rigorous oversight, uniform
handling of requests, and enhanced traceability.
It also reflects ANP’s ambition to align with international
standards and continuously improve services through
digitalization and staff training.
