The great agility and adaptability of the national port places has allowed WORD
them, in times of crisis, to meet the challenge of the ports’ continued
operation and to fully assume their role as a platform serving the national OF THE GENERAL

In fact, as soon as the health crisis relating to the Covid-19 pandemic
broke out, the National Ports Agency mobilized all its resources in order to OF THE ANP
synchronize the efforts of the port community, as a part of a continuity plan
of port activities and in compliance with the preventive measures aimed at
containing the pandemic risk.
At the operational level, the national port sector quickly adapted to the
new context, which revealed (i) the necessity and urgency to maintain port
traffics, mainly those which had registered a significant increase, such as
cereals, and (ii) the need to consider health security measures to face the
spread of the pandemic.
Various measures have been implemented, including the strengthening
of sanitary security measures within the ports, the acceleration of the
dematerialization and digitalization of port processes and the adoption of
specific regalian decisions.
The Agency has also attached particular importance to the protection of
its staff against any contamination risk, mainly through (i) adjusting working
hours and spaces to ensure physical distancing, (ii) systematizing the
disinfection of premises, the wearing of masks and the taking of temperatures
and (iii) ensuring the detection of possible cases of contamination and the Nadia LARAKI
follow-up of contact cases.

The 2020 Annual Report provides an overview of the management of the of the National Ports Agency
Covid-19 pandemic crisis within the port environment, while also presenting
a review of the Agency’s activities and achievements in this exceptional
environment.
