MANAGER
OF THE ANP
In 2024, the National Ports Agency (ANP) reached a decisive milestone in
the implementation of its strategic plan, aimed in particular at strengthening
the Kingdom’s logistics sovereignty, in line with the High Directives of His
Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him. The Agency confirmed
its ability to orchestrate with rigor and efficiency the regulation and
performance of the ports under its responsibility.
The year was marked by major achievements: modernization of infrastructure,
deployment of new digital solutions, reinforcement of regulatory
frameworks, and renewed dynamism of private sector participation. The
conclusion of concessions in Dakhla, Essaouira, Casablanca, and Jorf Lasfar
illustrates this commitment to openness and efficiency.
As part of its unifying approach to supporting the facilitation of the Kingdom’s
foreign trade, the ANP continued to build on the PortNet Single Window,
which is poised to enter a new phase with the forthcoming inclusion of
additional port stakeholders. This momentum has also been reinforced by Mustapha FARES
a strategic partnership with the Ministry of Industry and Trade to develop
digital solutions designed to simplify and harmonize trade procedures. General Manager
of the National Ports Agency
On the financial front, the Agency achieved record levels with revenues
of MAD 2.8 billion and a self-financing capacity exceeding MAD 1 billion.
Furthermore, the signing of a strategic partnership with the French
Development Agency (AFD), aimed at supporting climate resilience and
including the Kingdom’s southern ports, provides tangible proof of the
ANP’s dynamic financial policy.
This exemplary trajectory commits the ANP to sustaining its efforts to position
Morocco as a regional port hub and a model of logistics integration at both
African and Euro-Mediterranean levels, in full alignment with public sector
reforms focused on enhancing performance, governance, and efficiency.
