The port of Sidi Ifni is located about 170 km south of Agadir, latitude 29° 21' N and longitude 10° 11' W. Its main function is fishing and being well situated within the city coupled with a coastline that is bountiful in terms of seafood, and staffed with skilled fishing and fish processing professionals the port of Sidi Ifni is a major economic and social asset to both the city and the region.
History
Operations in the port of Sidi Ifni started in 1989 and the port has undergone several extensions with the most significant one having been completed in 2002.
