Asilah's fishing port and marina were created in 1992 as part of a new policy to develop the Northern region of Morocco. It is located in the city center, on the Atlantic coast 40 km south of Tangier and 30 km north of Larache, in the province of Tangier-Asilah. Its localization helps protect the old Medina from the threat of coastal erosion.
The marina basin has a capacity of 100 units.
The function of the port of Asilah is to serve the local fishing community and is served by the RP 2 provincial road linking Asilah to Tangier.
